As you know we have 3 colour collections so it’s not surprising that we woke bright and early to do our FIRST LIGHT shoot.  Well, it was more like dark and early when  Megan & Kitty arrived at my house navigating the windy bóithríní (little country roads) of West Cork.  We got them into their first outfits gave them hot water bottles and went to meet photographer Kate Bean down the road.

We were anticipating some good weather and we were in luck – our local beach welcomed us with a gorgeous sunrise and fairly balmy weather for mid-October.

The soft clear morning light really complimented the warm tones and hues of our knitwear.  Kate captured sisters Meagan and Kitty so beautifully with their playful ease and soulful connection.   As the day warmed up and we neared the end of the shoot the girls braved the cold sea, splashing like it was the mediterranean.
