Each of our beautiful Dathú Jumpers are knit on hand-driven knitting machines and hand-dyed with plants. The creation of each hat consists of nine stages. From knitting to linking, hand-sewing to natural dyeing, washing to ironing, machine sewing labels and tagging, each stage performed with love from our hands to your head. Our merino yarn is traditionally spun and dyed in Donegal in Ireland. The dyes we use come from plants grown and processed in Europe using organic or low-energy methods that don’t cause deforestation. These plants have tried and tested historical efficacy and colourfastness.
