I grew up alongside the river Dee in Louth, where sometimes you would catch a flash of green-blue zipping past. This is the Common Kingfisher, a tiny little bird that dives into the water to fish. Their plumage is so beautiful, teal feather with bright turquoise speckles and a golden yellow breast.
Each of our beautiful bespoke hats are hand-made to order and knit on our hand-driven knitting machine. The creation of each hat consists of eight stages. From knitting to linking, washing to ironing, hand sewing to pompom making, each stage performed with love from our hands to your head. Our yarn is traditionally spun and dyed in Donegal in Ireland. Each shade of yarn has an array of stunning flecks of colour, which makes combining unusual colours a creative dream.
Medium is our standard size and works for most.
